Topic 1: The Gift of Eternal Life
Description In this topic, we will learn what eternal life means according to the Bible and why Jesus Christ came into the world. We will explore the meaning of the Greek word *Zōē*, understand that eternal life is a gift received through faith in Jesus Christ, and discover that knowing God through Jesus is at the heart of eternal life. This topic will help beginners build a strong foundation in understanding God’s gift of life through His Son.

Topic 2: How We Are Born Again
Topic Description Being born again is central to understanding the life God gives us through Jesus Christ. In this topic, we will explore what Jesus meant when He spoke about being born again, the difference between physical birth and spiritual birth, and how a person receives new life through faith in Christ. We will also examine the work of the Holy Spirit, our new relationship with God, and the significance of our spiritual birth for daily Christian living. Through the Scriptures, we will learn that the new birth is God's work in us, not something we achieve through human effort or religious performance. These lessons will help us understand our spiritual beginning in Christ and grow in the knowledge of the life we have received through Him.

Topic 3: Understanding Eternal Life as God’s Life in Us
Eternal life is more than living forever. Through Jesus Christ, we receive life from God—a life that begins when we believe in Him. In this topic, we will explore what the Bible teaches about eternal life, the meaning of the Greek word Zōē, how eternal life differs from merely existing forever, and what it means to possess this life now. We will study the finished work of Jesus Christ and discover how understanding eternal life transforms our relationship with God, our identity in Christ, and the way we live each day.

Topic 4: Assurance and Confidence in Eternal Life
Topic Description How can we know that we have eternal life? Can we trust God's Word even when our feelings change or we face difficult seasons? In this topic, we will study what the Bible teaches about the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We will learn how to rest in God's testimony, distinguish faith from feelings, respond to doubts, understand the place of spiritual growth, and live with confidence in what Christ has accomplished. We will also examine how to understand biblical warnings and correction without falling into fear or condemnation. Our foundation will be the Word of God, especially the promises revealed through Jesus Christ. The purpose is not to encourage careless living but to help believers grow in faith, gratitude, obedience, and confidence in the Lord. Key Scripture — 1 John 5:13 (KJV) “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Topic 5: The New Creation
In this topic, we will explore what it means to be a new creation in Christ and how receiving eternal life gives us a new spiritual identity. We will study what the Bible teaches about our old identity, our new life in Christ, and our position as God's children. We will learn that our new identity is a gift of God's grace, not something we earn through good works or religious efforts. We will also examine how understanding who we are in Christ helps us renew our minds, grow in faith, overcome condemnation, and live according to the truth of God's Word. Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Topic 6: Understanding Righteousness
In this topic, we will explore what righteousness means and how believers receive righteousness through Jesus Christ. We will learn that our righteousness is not earned through good works, religious activities, or personal achievements, but is received through faith in Jesus Christ. We will study the difference between human efforts to become righteous and the righteousness God gives us through Christ. These lessons will help us understand our acceptance before God, approach Him with confidence, and live from our new identity in Christ. Key Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV) “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Main Learning Objectives By the end of this topic, learners should be able to: Explain the biblical meaning of righteousness.
