Some people use horoscopes, zodiac signs, or astrology to predict their future, understand relationships, or make important decisions. Others consult these practices out of curiosity or cultural habit.
Discussion Questions
Does the Bible encourage Christians to seek guidance through astrology or horoscopes? Where should Christians seek wisdom and direction for their lives? How should believers respond when cultural traditions encourage dependence on predictions or zodiac signs?
Key Scriptures (KJV)
Isaiah 47:13–14 — Isaiah challenges the astrologers who claimed to predict and guide the future.
Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
James 1:5: “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
Let us examine this subject through Scripture and encourage believers to seek wisdom from God rather than depend on astrological predictions.
