Some people believe that angry words, family curses, or statements spoken by spiritual leaders can determine a person’s future. This can cause fear and lead people to seek special rituals to reverse those words.

      Discussion Questions

Should Christians live in fear of curses spoken by other people? What does the Bible teach about our identity and freedom in Christ? How should believers respond when someone threatens them with a curse?

      Key Scriptures (KJV)

Proverbs 26:2: “As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.”

Galatians 3:13: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:”

Romans 8:31: “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”

Let us study God’s Word and understand our confidence in Christ rather than allowing threats or fear to control our lives.
