Series 2: Church Practices and Traditions — Discussion 34

      Bible Scripture (KJV)

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV): “(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)”

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJV): “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

      Let us discuss:

Does the Bible teach Christians to depend on dreams to discover God’s will for their lives? How can we distinguish between a personal dream and a message that is truly from God? What place should Scripture have when a dream appears to contradict God’s written Word?

Let us examine the Scriptures in context and share our understanding respectfully, allowing God’s Word to be our foundation for faith and guidance.
